Enrique Evins
Founder & Owner, Evins Construction
Enrique Evins is a licensed Florida general contractor who learned the trade in the field. Starting right out of high school, he worked his way through every trade by hand: framing, concrete, and finish carpentry. That hands-on foundation, you can't manage what you don't understand, became the cornerstone of everything that followed.
Over three decades he rose from tradesman to site supervisor to project manager, and ultimately to Vice President at a major commercial construction firm. There he directed complex, ground-up builds for nationally recognized tenants including The Cheesecake Factory, managing the teams, schedules, and multimillion-dollar budgets that institutional construction demands.
In 2018, Enrique made a deliberate move to Spring Hill to build something personal. He founded Evins Construction to bring that commercial career home, the licensing, the process, and the accountability, to the families of Hernando County. He is personally present on every job, accountable for the work that carries his name.

Learning the Trades
Enrique entered the construction industry straight out of high school, learning every trade from the ground up: framing, concrete, MEP rough-in, finish carpentry. This hands-on foundation became the cornerstone of his approach: you can't manage what you don't understand.
Commercial Career & VP Promotion
After years in the field, Enrique moved into project management and eventually executive leadership at a major commercial construction firm. As Vice President, he directed ground-up builds for The Cheesecake Factory and other nationally recognized tenants, overseeing strict schedules, institutional budgets, and complex multi-trade coordination.
Founding Evins Construction
After relocating to Spring Hill, Enrique founded Evins Construction with a mission that had personal meaning: bring commercial-grade construction discipline to the families and homeowners of Hernando County, Pasco County, and Citrus County, people who deserve better than the discount contractors flooding the residential market.

Since 2018, Evins Construction has completed over 200 residential projects across the tri-county area. Every project has been finished. Every contract has been honored. Enrique is personally present on every job, not delegating from a sales office, but on-site, accountable, and invested in the outcome.
