Evins Construction ("Evins Construction", "we", "our", or "us") respects your privacy. This Privacy Policy describes the personal information we collect, how we use it, who we share it with, and the choices and rights you have. It applies to our website, our business phone and text message numbers, video consultations, our online store, and our AI chatbot.
1. Information We Collect
We collect the following categories of personal information, directly from you and through automated technologies:
- Identifiers: name, email address, phone number, mailing and project address, and IP address.
- Project and commercial information: the details of the project or estimate you request, products purchased through our online store, order history, and payment records.
- Phone and messaging records: when you call or text one of our business numbers, the number you called from, the number you dialed, the date, time, and length of the call, the caller name and city supplied by the phone network, any voicemail you leave and its transcript, and the content of text messages you exchange with us.
- Video consultation records: if you book a video consultation and agree to recording, the recording, its transcript, and a written summary.
- Internet activity: pages viewed on our site, referring URL, device type, approximate location derived from IP, and interactions with our forms and chatbot.
- Communications: the content of messages you send through our forms, by email, by text message, or through our AI chatbot.
2. How We Use Your Information
- To respond to estimate requests, project inquiries, and customer support, and to return your calls and messages.
- To keep a record of our contact with you about your project.
- To know which of our advertisements, listings, or pages led you to call us. Each phone number we publish is tied to the place it appears, and all of them reach the same business.
- To process online store orders and deliver products.
- To send confirmations, updates, and account messages by email or text message.
- To operate, secure, and improve our website and services.
- To meet legal, accounting, tax, and regulatory obligations.
3. Phone Calls, Voicemail, and Tracking Numbers
Our business numbers are provided by a telephone service. When you call, the service logs the numbers involved, the date, time, and duration of the call, and the caller name and city the phone network supplies. We do not record telephone conversations. If we ever begin recording calls, you will hear a notice at the start of the call and can hang up or ask us not to record before continuing.
If we cannot answer, you may leave a voicemail. Voicemails are stored securely and transcribed by an automated speech-to-text service so we can read and return them. You can ask us to delete a voicemail at any time using the contact information below.
4. Text Messages (SMS)
When you provide your phone number on one of our forms and submit it, you agree that we may contact you by phone call and text message about your inquiry, quote, and project. Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to any message to opt out, or HELP for help. Consent to receive text messages is not a condition of any purchase. Messages you send us are kept in our inbox with your inquiry.
No mobile information will be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. Text messaging originator opt-in data and consent will not be shared with any third parties.
5. Video Consultations
If you book a video consultation, it takes place over a secure meeting link that expires after the appointment. A consultation is recorded only if you agree when asked at the start. You may say no, and nothing is captured before you answer. A recorded consultation is transcribed and summarized by automated services so we can prepare your estimate. Recordings, transcripts, and summaries are kept with your project record and deleted on request.
6. Automated Screening of Inquiries
Every inquiry sent through our forms is checked by automated rules and by an AI model (Google Gemini) that reads the message to tell a genuine project inquiry from spam or a sales pitch. Screening only labels a message for our review. No inquiry is deleted or refused by the screen, and a person reads what you send.
7. Address Verification
When you enter a project address on our quote form, it is checked against Google's address service to confirm it is a real address we can serve. Google's privacy policy governs that lookup.
8. AI Chatbot
Our website uses an AI chatbot powered by Google Gemini. When you send a message, its content is transmitted to Google for processing. We do not store chatbot conversations on our servers, and we do not associate them with your identity unless you provide contact information through a separate form. See our AI Usage Policy for details.
9. Cloudflare Turnstile
We use Cloudflare Turnstile to help protect our forms from spam and abuse. When you interact with a protected form, Turnstile collects client signals to verify you are a human, including your IP address, TLS fingerprint, user-agent header, and the Turnstile sitekey and origin of the site. Cloudflare cannot directly identify individuals from these signals. Processing is governed by the Cloudflare Turnstile Privacy Addendum and Cloudflare's main privacy policy.
10. Cookies and Tracking Technologies
We use cookies and similar technologies to operate the site, remember your preferences, and analyze traffic, including Google Analytics. Google Analytics loads only after you accept the cookie notice shown on your first visit. You may also disable cookies in your browser, though some features may not work without them.
11. How We Share Information
We share information only as needed to operate our business, with service providers who act on our instructions: Evolv-To Consulting, LLC, which builds and operates our website, inbox, and phone system; our telephone, text message, and video provider; our speech-to-text provider; Google, for the chatbot, address verification, and analytics described above; Cloudflare; our hosting and storage provider; our payment processor for online store orders; and shipping carriers. We also share information with government or law enforcement when required by law. We do not sell your personal information.
12. Data Retention
We keep personal information only as long as needed to provide our services, comply with tax and regulatory obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce our agreements. Call logs, voicemails, text messages, and consultation records are kept with your inquiry or project record and deleted on request.
13. Data Security
We use reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards to protect your information, including encrypted transmission (HTTPS) and access controls. No system is perfectly secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
14. Your Privacy Rights
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to know what personal information we have collected, to request deletion or correction, to opt out of the sale or sharing of personal information, and to receive a copy of your information. To exercise these rights, contact us using the information below. We will respond within the time required by applicable law and may need to verify your identity first.
15. Children's Privacy
Our services are not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe we have collected information from a child under 13, contact us so we can delete it.
16. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The "Last updated" date above reflects the most recent revision.
